3D Induction Bending

Inductaflex has successfully produced test bends for the hot 3D induction bending of centrifugally cast nickel pipe. Previously told the bends were not possible by European and North American sub-contractors the company discussed the possibility with Inductaflex Engineers.

After approximately 1 month of trials as successful process was completed enabling the automatic bending of multi axis bends for the petrol-chemical industry of difficult spools and reformers with rotary cast pipe.

The standard machine bends up to 6″ (168mm) cast pipes. The roundness is maintained with specific interchangeable dies.

Should you require a machine like this the lead time is 5 months.

Be the first to have one of these to service your countries petrol-chemical industry!
