Inductaflex is a leading machinery manufacturer specialising in induction bending and aluminium extrusion bending

We are looking to employ a motivated engineer to help develop our equipment and to assist in training, installations and service calls to our customers.

Our key markets are North America, Europe and the Middle East.

You would assist in the design and manufacturing of the machines, in particular the control systems. Quality control of parts and tooling would also form a key part of the role. Having an understanding of metals and treatment, machining and tolerances is a desired skill.

Lean manufacturing and good personal organisational skills will be something you understand and perform naturally.

Essential experience:

• At least three years’ hands on experience in an engineering factory

• Understanding of machining equipment and processes

• Knowledge of electrical HMI / PLC control systems

• First class knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Manual lifting of parts

Personality traits:

• Self-motivated

• Must be willing to travel, often two to four weeks on site around the world

• Car owner with current license

• No criminal record, must be eligible for US / Canadian visa

Desirable experience:

• Knowledge of hydraulic / pneumatic systems

• AutoCAD 2D drawings or higher.

• A Foreign language: Mandarin; German; Russian

• Easy Builder Pro knowledge

• Machining tolerances

Process

Initial interviews will take place over Skype to review your ability in this medium. You will need to give a short presentation on your own computer screen using screen sharing. You can decide upon the content for the 20-minute initial interview including questions.
