In profile bending, drift starts small and grows into a costly error. A few millimeters off might not seem like much until you realize the entire batch is off-spec. This type of error doesn’t always come from obvious failure. Instead, it often results from gradual changes in heat, pressure, wear, or calibration. Spotting drift early helps keep parts accurate and waste under control.
